"An assortment of melodies kept in touch with grandstand of  flexibility as a lyricist, essentially in light of the fact that I love all music , all styles. I needed to explore, move out of the safe place. My energy is the studio, the limits are boundless , you can be whoever you want. To compose tunes fulfills me , to make , to create is to live life."

Songwriting Portfolio

At some point in 2018, I was required a recording  session with Bhoroz of Mutual Frandz, South Africa . The outcome was " Be Honest" which you can tune in to in the player above.

Bhoroz is a South African record maker and blender. He has recorded and produced with vocalists, musicians and beat makers in various landmasses from Spain to America to Nigeria with any semblance of Soko (Grammy Nominated 4x Producer), Fireboy DML, Narcosbeats and Niniola. It was a complete delight to work with Bhoroz his energy and excitment about making music is irresistible.

" Naomi your voice surpasses my beats, with such a lot of pith, it resembles a medication. Your words and the manner in which you sing is totally amazing." - Bhoroz

Covers

Covers have consistently been an incredible method to communicate ones self on a well known beat or with a mainstream mood and verses on another song.My thoughts of covers began in Secondary School when I composed and rapped to Nicki Minaj's celebrated "Your Love".

Illven took me to my first studio meeting he had records with Sinzu and Blackface and we recorded two songs that night in Ikotun.

In 2018 at the yearly Youth Corp Program, I performed a melody "Like That" the entire thought of the tune was cut from one of the popular afrobeats stars tunes that's Davido's "Like Dat", the tune and performance of the melodies left a great deal of the corp members and a portion of the staff in awe, it was basically euphoria.

It is only just that this compilation begins with this song from 3 years ago as Roguebanz before re-branding to Naomi Rogue in 2019.
